Recently I was asked jokingly how much it would cost to change my beliefs from atheism back to my parent’s religion. I didn’t really have an answer because no matter how much money I had, I could never really make myself believe anything other than what I believe to be true. But now I have an answer, an answered prayer if you will. Scarlett Johansson is releasing an album in May (my birthday no less) called “Anywhere I Lay My Head” that is made up of Tom Waits covers. I’m just going to emphasize that last bit there.

Did I ever tell you I have a Milla Jovovich CD, it came in when I was working at that cd exchange place. It’s pretty good in a weird portishead meets scandinavian metal pretty-fem vocalist sort of way. Just your average american/ukrainian/soviet actress/supermodel/fashion designer/singer they probably have a category for that by now. She’d win.
Yeah, it’s going to be interesting. I’m impressed she was able to convince Waits to let her do it.
