A holiday, I’m going on one and I’m gonna take a bunch of photos (some just like the one below). See you on the other side of the weekend.

It is work like this which remind me that I need to change the dimensions of this blog. When I first designed it, large monitors were a luxury and few had them so I had to take smaller screens into account. Nowadays catering for smaller monitors is less of an issue and this being a space beholden only unto myself, I think that I will soon expand the margins so that I can display the below image at a size which it deserves. In the meantime however, go to Daniel Hadiwibawa’s website to see a larger photo.

I haven’t posted about my work in some time, as I haven’t managed to produce as much recently as usual. That will change as I’m undertaking a new photo project which will probably leak it’s way into the blog at some point. Below is a shot unrelated to my new project, a nameless street from my recent travels.

Eric Fischer gives the key to this work as:
Blue points on the map are pictures taken by locals (people who have taken pictures in this city dated over a range of a month or more).
Red points are pictures taken by tourists (people who seem to be a local of a different city and who took pictures in this city for less than a month).
Yellow points are pictures where it can’t be determined whether or not the photographer was a tourist (because they haven’t taken pictures anywhere for over a month). They are probably tourists but might just not post many pictures at all.
